In just a couple of days the first members of the Baby Boomer Generation, born between 1946 and 1965, will reach retirement age.
During their lives Boomers have spent a lot of their free time outdoors hunting, fishing and camping and enjoying fitness sports such as hiking, biking, skiing and running.
With retirement on the horizon, many Boomers are feeling their age in their joints -- ankles, knees, back, hips or hands. All those years of walking over uneven terrain, shooting bows and arrows, casting and reeling while fishing, paddling canoes, peddling bicycles, pounding the pavement and carrying heavy loads in backpacks have taken a toll.
